I’ve always been a voracious reader, so it was no surprise when I went to uni to get a BA in English language and literature. I started working as an editor in 2006 and have edited over a thousand books since then, including multiple New York Times and USA Today bestsellers.

I’ve worked with authors from all over the world and edited for traditional publishing houses and independent presses like Harlequin, HarperCollins, Entangled Publishing, Kensington Publishing, and Samhain Publishing.

Besides editing, I also write. I have a few fiction books published under a pen name and one abridged Dickens classic I was contracted to write that’s used in high school literature classes. My experience as both an editor and an author give me a unique perspective when editing. I love brainstorming and plotting with authors, but I’m also always aware of preserving an author’s voice while I work.
